Sime Darby Lecture Series 2011 dated 21st July 2011

It's been awhile after my last post...Was pretty hectic with event, engagement ceremony, photo shoot which happened one after the other..and now during the holly month of Ramadhan, i hardly update the current activity as fully occupied assisting my mom with baking raya cookies...alhamdulillah..tq Allah for the rezeki.

Anyway..i'm writing tonite as to update ( not so hot from the oven tho hahah ) the previous assigned task.

Function & Theme : Lecture Series 2011 / Terrorism
Decorator : Maya Puri Creations

Theme for the day was about Terrorism but we do the opposite.  And the whole idea was to convey and set up the PEACE message. And used most of the recycled materials as the deco items.
Plant in a pot & pebble stones was nicely wrapped & tied up as a give away for the VVIPs , VIPs and rest of the guest.

VVIP's table deco. Rationale :The dry branch symbolise the pain, suffering implicated by terrorism.

Seedling represents new life, hope and new beginning.

Peace : it does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be in your heart.
